Federal deadline calendar for breweries, November 2026 to January 2027
Every federal excise return, operations report and FDA renewal date a brewery is likely to face this season, with the official sources.
Federal dates for breweries from November 2026 through January 2027. Excise-return dates come from TTB’s published 2026 schedule, which already moves weekend dates to the preceding business day. Report dates are the 15th of the following month.

Year-round rules
- Excise returns are due the 14th day after the period ends, or the preceding business day if that falls on a weekend or holiday.
- For semimonthly filers, September is split into special periods, with dates on Sept 28 or 29 and Oct 14.
- TTB says Pay.gov ACH payments must be completed by 8:55 p.m. ET one business day before the due date.
- State reports and renewals vary by state and aren’t listed here. Use TTB’s directory of state alcohol agencies.

What happens if a due date falls on a weekend?
For excise tax returns, the due date moves to the preceding business day. TTB’s published schedule already reflects this.
